I'm Hyeonyong Kim (김현용), a graduate student at
Seoul National University
studying computational cosmology and astrophysics, under the supervision of
Ji-hoon Kim.
My research focuses on the formation and evolution of galaxies in the high-redshift universe, observed by the
James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).
I also have been participating in the multi-platform cosmological simulation comparison project
AGORA.
In addition, I am interested in applying machine learning techniques to astronomy.
I received a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering and astronomy, with a minor in physics.

Astrophotography:
A Glimpse of the Cosmos
Astrophotography is one of my favorite hobbies. Whenever I have the opportunity to travel, I enjoy photographing the night sky from different parts of the world. I especially enjoy capturing the Milky Way and the constellations spread across the sky.
Here, I hope to share the quiet beauty of the cosmos.
